Who we are
Prague Summer Schools are weeklong academic programs, organized annually by SCHOLA EMPIRICA, a Prague-based NGO. Our summer schools cover a broad range of disciplines within the Social Sciences including European politics, Economics, Criminology, Psychology, Education, or Behavioral Sciences and focus on current developments using state-of-the-art research. Our aim is to contribute to an understanding of crucial contemporary challenges while fostering international dialogue.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contacts from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

In order to specialize the service for the beneficiary part from Schola Empirica products and services, we collect personal information such as name, surname, email address, phone number, gender, age, nationality to register the beneficiary individuals to the programs of Schola Empirica. This information is used to contact you about the products/services on our site in which you have expressed interest. This information is obtained from the beneficiary parts via their personal consent, and will not be shared with third parties.
We share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. Schola Empirica advertises its business via media products such as articles, pictures, notes or other written & visual contents. These mentioned contents may or may not involve any input of the beneficiary parties of Schola Empirica. On condition that any kind of advertisement content involves any sort of input related to the beneficiary parties of Schola Empirica, the personal consent of the beneficiary parts has to be taken. Schola Empirica will not share any media content without the consent of its beneficiary parties.
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.
