Students can choose from programs within social sciences including economics, international relations, criminology, psychology, education, or behavioural psychology and economics.
It is designed to provide students with advanced knowledge about the application of psychological approaches, theories and research methods in relation to the criminal justice system and its challenges.
Our program will bring to students of various backgrounds state-of-the-art research on behavioural aspects of decision-making in economics and psychology. Supported by case studies, experiments and games.
Our program will provide students with a deeper understanding of different facets of development and related challenges by addressing political, socio-economic, technological and environmental cooperation.
It invites students to discuss the ideas around current issues in education with faculty members, academics, researchers, professionals, as well as fellow students of various academic and cultural backgrounds.
Today marks two decades since we embarked on the Prague Summer Schools journey. Behind this idea there was a strong belief in the benefits of bringing young people from different cultural and academic backgrounds together to discuss the current social, political and economic issues. There was also a strong belief in the contribution of knowledge and expertise of academics who guide students through this week long experience.
Over the past twenty years, we’ve witnessed numerous changes –the new topics were developing, the new teaching and management staff, the new settings and events. We experienced growth with over 150 students at times and faced challenges during the COVID era when our numbers were modest.
One aspect has remained unwavering throughout these years – the joy derived from forging new friendships and generating innovative ideas. I sincerely hope that students will have the opportunity to join our programs the upcoming summer, where they can reap the academic and networking benefits while experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of beautiful Prague.
