PRAGUE SUMMER SCHOOLS PROGRAMS

PSS are open to students (both undergraduate and graduate level) and recent graduates who wish to deepen or broaden their knowledge in a specific field.
Each application is individually assessed based on the information provided in the CV and cover letter. The Admissions Committee focuses on educational background, interests and motivation.
Being the most popular PSS programs have been quite numerous in the last years. To keep the quality of the courses high, the number of spots in both Online Courses are limited. Students should submit the registration form as soon as possible, as acceptance to the course will be made on a rolling basis.
ONLINE COURSES
The reduced program fee is 200 EUR (for early-bird applications) and the full program fee is 250 EUR (for standard applications).
PRAGUE SUMMER SCHOOLS PROGRAMS
The reduced program fee is 740 EUR (for early-bird applications) and the full program fee is 790 EUR (for standard applications). The fee includes:
Tuition and student materials
– Accommodation in double rooms for one week
– The half-board which includes breakfasts, lunches and coffee breaks
– Prague public transportation tickets and maps
– Site visits, social programs and special events (e.g. Boat Tour on the Moldau River, Tours of Prague, Happy Hour, Free day trip, and a Farewell dinner).
– Students are responsible for their travel to Prague, dinner and personal expenses.
The language of instruction, as well as all related events, is English. Where necessary, the translation from/to English is provided.
No, all communication before and during the summer schools is in English.
Both registration and classes will be held at Marianeum (address: Machova 7, Vinohrady, Prague 2). All hotels are located within walking distance from the venue. Selected guest lectures may be held in a different location.

The organization is not responsible for arranging visas for students but will be glad to provide students with a support/invitation letter if needed.

Unfortunately, as a non-profit organization, we are not able to provide students with financial aid. Nonetheless, we do encourage students to explore funding opportunities available through their home universities, non-governmental organizations and government sources. Yes, students do receive a certificate of attendance and participation on the final day of the summer school, stating their successful completion of the program.
In the past, graduates of Prague Summer Schools received credits from their home Universities. Many students in the past have counted our summer schools towards their degrees, usually receiving 3-4 ECTS. However, it is a sole responsibility of the students to fulfill the requirements of their home university.
In order to have an idea of the summer school’s workload in terms of hours, we kindly invite you to visit the individual webpage of the program you wish to attend, and have a look at the preliminary schedule. We will be pleased to provide our alumni with any kind of supporting materials required by their home academic institution.
We offer a 100% refund of the received program fee, excluding international transfer fees, for any cancellation before the 1st of June.
Cancellations between the 1st of June and the 15th of June are refunded for 90% of the received program fee, as the hotels charge a booking cancellation fee.
No refund can be made for cancellations after the 15th of June.
The accommodation cost included in the program fee is intended for double room occupancy, from July 3rd (check-in day) to July 10th (check out day), at our partner hotels located in the beautiful Vinohrady area, Prague 2. The hotels are within a walking distance from the summer school venue and one metro stop or about a 15-minute walk from Vaclavske Namesti (Prague’s main square).
