PRAGUE SUMMER SCHOOLS PROGRAMS
The early bird deadline is June 30th, 2021. Students who apply by this date will be entitled to a reduced program fee. The final deadline is August 1st, 2021.
Although there are application deadlines, students are accepted on a rolling basis. Early bird applicants will receive preference in admission decisions. Late applicants run the risk of finding the program of their choice full.
PSS are open to students (both undergraduate and graduate level) and recent graduates who wish to deepen or broaden their knowledge in a specific field.
Each application is individually assessed based on the information provided in the CV and cover letter. The Admissions Committee focuses on educational background, interests and motivation.
Being the most popular PSS programs have been quite numerous in the last years. To keep the quality of the courses high, the number of spots in Summer Courses is limited. Students should submit the registration form as soon as possible, as acceptance to the course will be made on a rolling basis.

Nationals of many countries do not need a visa for a stay shorter than 90 days. For details please consult http://www.mzv.cz/jnp/en/information_for_aliens/short_stay_visa/general_information.html
The organization is not responsible for arranging visas for students but will be glad to provide students with a support/invitation letter if needed.
For any other specific inquiries about visas, we kindly ask you to re-direct your questions to the Czech Embassy in your country or related visa authorities, as visa policies and procedures vary from country to country.
Unfortunately, as a non-profit organization, we are not able to provide students with financial aid. Nonetheless, we do encourage students to explore funding opportunities available through their home universities, non-governmental organizations and government sources. A good place to start the search is www.scholarshipportal.com
Accepted students may ask for documents they need for their scholarship application(s).
Yes, students do receive a certificate of attendance and participation on the final day of the summer school, stating their successful completion of the program.
In the past, graduates of Prague Summer Schools received credits from their home Universities. Many students in the past have counted our summer schools towards their degrees, usually receiving 3-4 ECTS. However, it is a sole responsibility of the students to fulfill the requirements of their home university.
In order to have an idea of the summer school’s workload in terms of hours, we kindly invite you to visit the individual webpage of the program you wish to attend, and have a look at the preliminary schedule. We will be pleased to provide our alumni with any kind of supporting materials required by their home academic institution.
We offer a 100% refund of the received program fee, excluding international transfer fees, for any cancellation before the 30th of June.
Cancellations between the 30th of June and the 1st of August are refunded for 90% of the received program fee, as the hotels charge a booking cancellation fee.
No refund can be made for cancellations after the 1st of August.
Due to COVID-19 traveling restrictions, the refund could be made or the participation can be postponed for the next summer (July 2022).
