We understand that an overseas applicant can have multiple questions about applying abroad for a summer school. Here to your rescue, below is all you need as an international student to successfully attend Prague Summer School in the heart of Prague, Czech Republic.

A. Passport– A valid passport from any nationality with at least 6 months from the date of expiry at the time of travel

B. Schengen Visa– Some countries need a visa to enter a European country. Identify whether you need it here.

If you do, you need to apply through your nearest consulate for your Czech Republic 90-day Visitor Schengen Visa (not before 60 days of travel dates). For example, a valid consulate for participants from India would be located in the capital, Delhi.

The documents you need while applying for a Schengen Visa- read everything here. Prague Summer School is happy to issue a Visa Support Letter if needed for your application (on successful enrolment).

C. Forex– While Euro is an acceptable currency at most places, to make your experience smooth, you must carry Czech’s local currency- Czech Koruna with you. We suggest you either use an international debit/credit card or you get your currency exchanged at local centres on arrival (for the best conversion rates).

D. Travel arrangements– Make sure you book your travel (via air, train, or bus) at least two weeks in advance from the programme dates for best prices.

We are all set to welcome you and take you through a week-long unforgettable experience. Get ready to apply for the best summer school in Europe, the applications are now open. Apply here. You can email us at info@scholaempirica.com for any questions.
